Kristi Gold. Fit for a Sheikh. New York: Silhouette, 2004.
Sheikh Darin ibn Shakir is a former military tracker and takes on the dangerous mission of
capturing murderous Dr. Roman Birkenfeld. But from the beginning, his plans go awry. In a Las
Vegas bar, he is injured by Birkenfeld and must rely on the help of a sexy redhead.
Fiona Powers works as a bartender, in order to help pay for her education. She is
instantly entranced by the handsome stranger that comes to the bar one night. The feisty woman
is more than a match for the brooding sheikh and insists on helping him with his mission. Darin
reluctantly agrees, though he finds her to be a tempting distraction he no longer wants in his
life. But before long, he yearns to show Fiona the fiery attraction blazing inside of
him.
