Sara Wood. Desert Hostage. New York: Harlequin, 1990.
Tiffany is a perfect, beautiful English rose, happily building her business as an
interior designer when her life suddenly comes to a standstill. The harsh, all-powerful
Sheikh Hassan sweeps into her world and proceeds to turn it upside down. Hassan
is the brother of Tiffany's late husband, the cruel Nazim, and it is his opinion that Tiffany is
an unfit mother and should have no rights to her son, Josef.
Tiffany is appalled at the magnetic sheikh's threats...and then horrified when he abducts her
to his remote desert home. Tiffany refuses to allow Hassan to take away her
beloved child, so he offers her a compromise: become his wife!
To remain with her son, Tiffany reluctantly agrees to the arrangement...and soon finds
herself falling for this virile desert man.
