Christina Nicholson. The Savage Sands. New York: Fawcett Crest, 1978.
Catherine Scott, a beautiful young girl, is cruelly abducted by a rogue baron, who steals
her and three members of her family and carries them onboard his ship en route to North Africa.
While on the
ship, she is instructed in the arts of the Kama Sutra, and told she will be sold to the
elderly Dey of Algiers to be used for his carnal amusement.
Events in her life take Catherine from the Dey's harem to the sands of the Sahara, and
eventually into the
arms of her true love.
